What did the Lebanese State do in March 2026?

In March 2026, the Lebanese state issued 103 legislative texts, none of which were reforms. More than half of the routine output was concentrated in three functions: dissolving 29 cooperatives and mutual funds (mostly health, humanitarian, and media-related funds), issuing 18 licenses (to schools, weapons-import businesses, and sports centers), and approving 11 contributions worth $537,000. Regulatory activity focused on tax matters — reducing penalties on unpaid taxes and extending filing deadlines — alongside extending the validity of industrial certificates, amending conditions for non-technical public administration positions, and defining licensing requirements for health and fitness clubs. For more information, please refer to the memo for the month of March.
