What did the Lebanese State do in April 2026?

In April 2026, the Lebanese state published 132 legislative texts, with licensing accounting for the largest share of routine activity. In all, 31 texts were issued to establish or operate sports centers, authorize the import and sale of weapons, ammunition, and agricultural fertilizers, and open or approve educational institutions and programs. Other routine measures included 15 appointments to security, judicial, and diplomatic posts, in addition to 9 financial transfers totaling $3.6 million. These measures were accompanied by regulatory texts focused on approving vocational and technical training curricula, extending tax and fee deadlines, regulating imports of dairy products, cheeses, meat, and frozen poultry, and suspending authorization requirements for hay imports.
